Slightly harder to sharpen than 8Cr13MoV. Toughness is moderate. Not as refined as Japanese or Western premium steels.

Grinding Notes

Grinds well with standard abrasives. Slightly slower than 8Cr13MoV due to higher chromium. Still very workable.

Polishing Notes

Takes better polish than 8Cr13MoV. Higher chromium content gives brighter finish.
